Meet our new friend, and Orzo’s older friend.
Hey there, DGN readers.
Some of you have mentioned that you were concerned that there hadn’t been updates or any sort of word as to what was going on. I’m posting this to set some things straight.
First, due to a combination of many non-preventable factors, not the least of which is my health, I have to put DGN on the back burner for a while. I haven’t been improving at all; in fact, in some ways things are heading in the wrong direction. I have been advised to lessen my stress level and get more rest, neither of which I can do while trying to work on DGN. You may or may not know much about my life, but it’s a pretty hectic one. I have 3 teenage boys, two jobs, a book I’m trying to finish writing, and some serious health concerns besides. Something’s gotta give here, friends, and unfortunately, DGN is one of the few things I can survive without.
It’s not cancelled; not by a long shot. I’m not giving up on this story, but I also have to be smart about things. That being said, I’m taking a few months off to try and turn my health around. Once things are where I really want them to be, I’ll be back and we’ll continue on the road to the conclusion. We’re actually quite close, and I ask you to be patient with me while I recover and recoup.
I thank you for being the most loyal and awesome group of readers on the Internet. I’ll be back; I always am. Love you all.
I’m curious, as Jim and I tend to do this a lot….do you tend to associate particular songs with DGN characters? I know that for me, every single character has their own “theme song” if you will, a song that helps me get into the right state of mind to write that particular character. What do you fine folks think? Any songs remind you of your Anakronian friends?
